Reinforced Concrete Inspection

TKS applies the following advanced NDT techniques to concrete:

• Ground penetrating radar (GPR) inspection of reinforced concrete: Use GRP to locate rebar and to detect rebar corrosion.

• Impact echo testing of reinforced concrete: Use impact echo testing to measure concrete thickness and detect delaminations and cracking in concrete.

• Half-cell potential testing of reinforced concrete: Use HCFT to detect the corrosion potential of your reinforced concrete system.

• Schmidt Hammer testing of concrete: Use the Schmidt hammer technique to correlate hardness to compressive strength for quality control purposes

• Eddy current testing: Use ET to detect cover depth and rebar close to the surface of your structure.
