FIAM Database Tracking Over 15,000 Iron Parts

TechKnowServ’s Frac Iron Asset Management database (FIAM) currently tracks over 15,000 iron parts for our customers and their clients.  Launched in February 2014, the FIAM tracking system was developed to give our customers a platform to track iron pieces, recertification requirements, and test results. FIAM has proven to be an asset to the oil and gas industries by ensuring that iron parts used in the industry are safe and up-to-date regarding their recertification requirements.

The FIAM database enables our customers to enter and track all pieces of iron a client owns. Not only does FIAM serve as a way for a client to track their iron assets, but also as a place to record test results for each piece of iron.  Pressure test results can be uploaded to the database, and a historical record is available for each test performed on a part. To ensure parts are tested at the required intervals, an automated email can be set up to remind the client a retest is due 30 days prior to expiration.
